Amy Winehouse Dies at 27

Uk song writer and singer amy winehouse, known for her very scintillating vocals and her love for drugs and alcohol stunned the world on saturday 23rd july 2011, when she was found dead in her home in london.

Although the cause of the death is yet to be known the london police said they are investigating the incident and for now they are treating the cause of death as "unexplained"

The singer was born Amy Jade Winehouse on the 14th of september 1983 in southgate london, to her mother Janis (a pharmacist) and her father Mitch a cab driver who nursed the love for music in her.
