Airtel Shops Across Lagos Closed Down By NLC

Airtel is at it again but in a rather shameful turn of events, as the staffs and customers of Airtel were forced to leave the premises of one their friendship centres situated at oba akran ikeja.



If you recall the riot incident that occurred in their Abuja call-centre premises over the maltreatment of the staffs by their indian owners, apparently it seems to be getting worse as the NLC is now involved and they have seen it fit to close down all shops and friendship centres in lagos.



In my chat with one employee, she stated that the lock down was carried out by some members of staff of the company (some she knew) and representatives of the Nigerian Labour Congress, she also added that their manner was forceful as she ran for her life while fleeing the premises.



On my part i really don't understand why indian employers seem to have a problem understanding the Nigerian workforce. I do hope all is resolved soon.
